Brazzaville and Luanda discuss cooperation on oil

A delegation from the Congolese Ministry of Oil has today (Tuesday) to Luanda, to discuss with the Angolan authorities issues related to joint exploration of oil from a deposit located on the border between the two countries.
According to the technical coordinator of the organ of state Congolese, Alfred Charles Socath on statements printed in the International Airport on February 4, there is the interest of both countries to jointly exploit the resource.
Even for this Tuesday, are scheduled discussions between representatives of two states, to examine the state of bilateral cooperation in the field of hydrocarbons.
The Ministry of Petroleum of Angola and Congo Brazzaville shall meet twice annually, and the meeting today the first of 2009.
The Congolese delegation returned to their country today at the end of the day.
